Joseph R. Polverari, Sr., of Counsel

Mr. Polverari has spent 39 years in private practice in Northern and Southern California. Mr. Polverari spent 25 years as senior trial counsel to a mid size litigation firm representing insurance carriers in complex litigation, liability, coverage and bad faith matters in both State and Federal Court. Mr. Polverari has represented insureds in complex litigation, bodily injury and construction defect matters. Mr. Polverari has represented public entities including County of Santa Clara and Valley Transit Authority. Mr. Polverari has a recognized expertise in real estate law and real estate litigation and, routinely represents clients in forming and operating business entities in California and other jurisdictions. Mr. Polverari has appeared before political bodies in the entitlement process, has formed Community Services Districts, and has appeared before planning commissions and boards of supervisors throughout the state of California. As legal counsel to partners in real estate development partnerships, limited liability companies and real estate related corporations, Mr. Polverari has enjoyed the primary responsibility for the formulation, negotiation, and drafting of contracts, partnership agreements, and other related documents (both with public and private entities) for the creation, entitlement and development of commercial, golf course, resort, and residential developments.
